For those of you who can, it is highly recommended that you download mIRC. This will give you more options than sorcery's webchat.
To download mIRC, simply go to mirc.com and follow the instructions on the page.
Once you have done so, and opened the program, fill in the necessary information.
Your nick should be your wolf's name.
The server you want to be on is sorcery.net.
If you cannot figure out how to get on there, simply type the command /server irc.sorcery.net, and it should connect you.
Once you have connected, type /join #LunarOOC, to join our OOC channel.
The following is a list of basic commands for mIRC:
/join #ChannelName allows you to join a new channel.
/nick NewNick allows you to change your nick.
/me is a command we use for roleplaying. (For example: Try typing /me bounces around. in the OOC channel. This will help you get a feel for the command.)
/nickserv register (your password) (your email) allows you to register your nickname, so someone else does not steal it. (You must have a valid email.)
/nickserv id (your password) identifies you as the proper owner of the nick when you log on.
Ctl + k allows you to add color to what you type.
mIRC does have scripts to making using it easier, but for now, the only one you need is the script following this post.
You must copy and paste it into the REMOTE section of your script editor.
This is a cut script. It automatically determines where your words would normally be cut off, and will continue them for you. In some cases this will keep you from needing to copy/past, but if your post cuts more than a certain number of times (about 5 or so, if I remember correctly) you may still need the copy/paste tool. Feel free to try it out, change the colors, and even change the cut, cont.., and end words.
